The Kentucky Young Horse Velvet Vegan Wool Boots are made with a strong EVA outer shell featuring multiple ventilation holes to prevent overheating of the tendons. The EVA outer shell is covered with the renowned velvet fabric using a new and innovative hot-press technology. These boots are approved for jumping competitions for young horses according to FEI rules. Kentucky's famous velvet fabric is laminated onto the EVA, which is then shaped under high temperature in the hot-press. The Bamboo Velvet elastic vegan wool boots feature the well-known artificial wool that Kentucky has been using for many years for our halters, show blankets, and girths. The outer shell of the boots is made from lightweight yet strong EVA, providing excellent shock-absorbing properties. The boots are 35% lighter than TPU leg protectors. The high-quality Velcro closure offers maximum grip and safety, ensuring that the boots will not twist or slide. Thanks to all these features, these boots are extremely comfortable for the horse's legs. The anatomical design ensures that the boots fit nicely around the horse's leg for maximum comfort and protection. This gives the horse maximum freedom of movement to jump better.
